The White-DeCoste Story
White-DeCoste Cannaceuticals was founded in August of 2018 by Dr. Chris White and David DeCoste. Our goal was to become one of the nation’s leading producers of CBD products through providing the best distillate available anywhere. From the get-go, we focused on quality, efficient processes, and developing mutually beneficial partnerships with our suppliers.
This idea was born from a single conversation back in May of 2018. The collective vision, to produce the best, cleanest, healthiest CBD products from our prime location in southern Oregon, became a reality soon after.
By the end of August, David moved to Medford, Oregon to develop the White-DeCoste manufacturing facility, but he knew that a state-of-the-art facility alone wouldn’t allow White-DeCoste to produce the quality of product envisioned. We’ve since cultivated relationships with local industry leaders to source the very best hemp available, ensuring a truly pure end product.
Today, White-DeCoste is operated by Dr. Chris White and David DeCoste.

Dr. Chris White
CEO & Owner
Dr. White has a background in medicine, pharmaceutical compounding, chemical design, molecular genetics, laboratory consulting, business management, and sales. His expertise in each of these highly technical fields provides him with the insight and top-down perspective to create a successful distillation operation.
David DeCoste
President & Owner
David has an extensive career in managing businesses, personnel, operations, and networking. A Florida transplant, David’s wife of 23 years and one of his two daughters joined him in Oregon to pursue the White-DeCoste vision. His other daughter is attending college in Florida.
Chrissy Thoren
Vice President & CCO
Since the legalization of marijuana in Oregon, Chrissy’s family has been a crucial part of the industry. Her father, one of the first few legal providers in the state, shaped her interest in the field, which she has worked in and been a proponent of for several years. Transitioning to her role at White-DeCoste was a natural, practical step. When Chrissy isn’t hard at work or fly-fishing, she spends as much time as possible with her husband and 5 children.
